Autumn Term - Sutton in Ashfield

Reception have been exploring maps and looking at where we live.  Most of Reception class live in Sutton in Ashfield and have been looking at features of the local environment, using paper and interactive maps. We know Sutton has a reservoir, Sutton Lawn, Kings Mill Hospital, shops, houses and a library etc. They then walked through Sutton to identify some of these features.  

They have also been finding their streets on Google Maps and then trying to locate them on a paper map.
